| Overview: |
The Program Manager & Analyst in Joslin’s Strategic Initiatives division acts as the primary liaison for 1-3 major customers and assists with program outcomes analysis.
|
| Responsibilities: |
Acts as the primary day-to-day project manager for 1-3 existing major customers in a variety of areas. These customers include consumer, retail, pharma, device, payer, government agencies, and other health care organizations. Maintains constant customer communication and coordinates all requests and activities, including those linked to external vendors/partners. Serves as the visible, day-to-day program and relationship manager responsible for ensuring successful achievement of all program activities and deliverables. Conducts outcomes analysis for Healthcare Services programs under the direction of the Director of Medical Affairs. Provides statistical analysis of and critical insight into study design of ongoing and planned clinical projects. Manages program timelines and suggests course corrections with customers as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Helps determine the appropriate allocation of Joslin resources necessary to meet program and customer requirements. Develops and manages budgets for programs. Identifies opportunities to expand programs in order to better achieve Joslin’s mission. Researches and identifies leads for new program opportunities, e.g., potential new customers for existing Joslin programs. Also recommends new product development areas.

| Qualifications: |
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Public Health, Business Administration, or a Clinical Field
- 2-4 years experience in project management
- 1-2 years experience in outcomes analysis
- Experience in research or clinical area preferred
- Experience in healthcare industry
- Experience with payers preferred
- Project management experience, including program start-up, implementation and coordination, budget development and management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of accounting for program management.
- Ability to travel approximately 10-30% of the time
- Skill in negotiation; exchanging ideas, information and opinions with others to formulate programs and to arrive at decisions, conclusions or solutions.
