The Coordinator of Educational Services would be responsible for the creation and management of all master nutrition, nursing and exercise physiologists schedules as well as the master diabetes education schedule.  Create coverage schedules for all diabetes education classes, programs and 1:1 visits as well as nursing coverage for Nurse of the Day 1903 and Dietitian of the Day.  The Coordinator for the education department will work collaboratively with the Provider Scheduling Coordinator in meeting the needs of other departments (i.e. coverage of Adult Diabetes).  Responsible for communication of policy and procedure to all the education staff as well as the general clinic staff when appropriate; required to participate in the development and implementation as well as the evaluation of productivity models for the educators, coordination of the ADA Recognition process and updating educational services’ metrics weekly.      


Hours are Monday-Friday: 7:30am -4:00pm


  • Proficiently create and manage master schedule templates for clinic educators and distribute daily and monthly schedules to the Clinic.
  • Create and manage a master education schedule including space requirements.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate tools to assess access to classes and 1:1 visits and manage productivity reports for the educators.
  • Monitor professional, personal and CEU obligations for the education staff.
  • Work with the Director of Educational Services to enforce all policies regarding scheduling including minimum coverage requirements for high volumes periods of absence i.e. summer vacation and the holidays.
  • Generate, interpret and communicate information from reports relevant to schedules and utilization. Updates educational services’ metrics weekly.      
  • Serve as a resource for staff scheduling appointments, to facilitate availability and response to patient demand.
  • Works directly with the Director of Educational Services to implement education initiatives.
  • Works collaboratively with the ADA Recognition Coordinator (i.e. credentialing and yearly meetings.)
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of an Industry Representative Program.
  • Implementing and maintaining a community outreach initiative collaboratively with the Latino and Asian Initiatives.
  • Coordination of the Monday Clinical Conferences.


  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
  • One to Two years of experience working with health care professionals in a clinical health care delivery system
  • Demonstrated competency with complicated scheduling systems
  • Demonstrates competency in written and oral communication skills
  • Organization skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in daily routine
  • Demonstrated Skills in successful management of professional health care providers
  • Self-directed
