The Adult Diabetes Section of the Joslin Diabetes Center is seeking to recruit a nurse practitioner to join its large group of providers, participating in clinical care, with some opportunity for research, and teaching if desired. The Joslin Diabetes Center, a world-renowned diabetes institution affiliated with Harvard Medical School and member of the Beth Israel Lahey Health network, offers cutting-edge diabetes care to a diverse population across the Greater Boston area, as well as other national and international visitors.
As part of our collegial group of clinicians, you will join 18 MDs and 11 NPs supported by exceptional CDCES, RDs, exercise physiologists, and behavioral health specialists to deliver person-centered, culturally-sensitive, comprehensive diabetes care. Among others, programs focused on underserved populations such as the Asian American Diabetes Initiative and the LatinX Initiative are at the core of our mission.

Although primarily in the outpatient setting, the ideal candidate may also contribute to the activities of the inpatient diabetes consult service in coordination with a team of attending physicians, endocrine fellows, and diabetes educators.

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality.
