The Joslin Care Coordinator (JCC) assists patients, providers and staff in a courteous and professional manner throughout the patient’s visit.
This is a Per Diem (as needed) role: varying days between Monday-Friday with hours that will vary between 7:00 am-6:00 pm.

The Medical Office Coordinator (MOC) provides administrative support to multiple allied health professionals in a medical office setting serving a chronically ill patient population. Interacts with many levels of Clinic/Center staff. Handles high volume patient interaction via telephone and face to face. Performs office support functions including typing, managing medical records, filing, using electronic modes of communication, performing automated scheduling and scheduling external diagnostic tests as requested. Assists with cross coverage to appropriate areas of the BEI. Ensure efficient operations by providing excellent customer service to patients, other staff members and external parties. To include all institutions that BEI and Joslin clinic maintain a collaborative working agreement.

Additionally supports the department and leadership by coordinating various requests, assisting in the review and development of orientation materials and training of new employees, and participates with other continuous quality improvement activities.
Hours are Monday-Friday; 9:00 am-5:30 pm.

The New Patient Coordinator is responsible for providing patients with an excellent experience in obtaining access to the Joslin clinics. The New Patient Coordinator will have interactions with patients and their families, physicians, physician office personnel and others in obtaining and recording the information necessary for effective scheduling and accurate registration while maintaining a focus on excellent customer service and patient confidentiality.
Schedule for this role will be 8:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)
After initial training/orientation onsite, the role has hybrid option available.
