Under moderate supervision, with intermediate to advanced proficiency,  the Administrative Assistant II will provide administrative assistance and support to faculty members of the Integrative Physiology and Metabolism and Islet Cell & Regenerative Biology departments, Junior Faculty in the Research Division, the Manager of Administrative Services, and respective lab personnel.   The Administrative Assistant II will support efforts to keep all Research Division activities functioning smoothly by participating in Division-wide efforts. Must be able to handle many requests independently, prioritize activities, and be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. The Administrative Assistant must be able to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform various functions of the job and address urgent issues with minimal supervision.   At the current time, this position has a schedule of 4 days on-site and 1 day remote per week.     As a health care organization, we have the responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities. The Administrative Coordinator for the Clinical Research Center (CRC) is responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Investigator of Clinical, Behavioral & Outcomes Research, the CRC Nurse Manager and Manager of Administrative Services. In addition, the CRC Administrative Coordinator may be responsible for supporting additional Investigators and/or Sections as assigned. These activities include Joslin’s education programs for professionals and corporate clients, Care Alliances, Advisory contracts as well as other educational programs, domestically and internationally. This position will work in close collaboration with key staff in the Joslin Clinic, and other programs within Joslin Global Education and Care Advisory.    This position, if desired, will have a hybrid work model (primarily remote).
