Responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Investigators of Integrative Physiology and Metabolism and/or other Sections or Investigators as assigned.  The Administrative Assistant III will also contribute to the Research Division team effort by providing cross coverage with other Section Administrative Assistants.  Support effort to keep all Research Division activities functioning smoothly by participating in Division-wide efforts. The Associate Director, Post Award Administration (Office of Sponsored Research), under the direction of the Director for Post-Award Administration, spearheads the development of standard operating procedures, helps lead training of staff within OSR staff and from other Joslin offices, participates in committees within and outside Joslin.  Manages a full sponsored research post-award portfolio including oversight and management of financial policy, compliance and reporting issues that arise during the life of the award.  Post-award responsibilities involve the administration of research projects to ensure they operate within financial limitations as well as their compliance with legal, sponsor and Center policies and procedures.  Position also leads or supports the development and implementation of research business practices that establish effective and efficient administrative operations.
