The Centralized Appointment Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and registering patients for services utilizing the NextGen practice management system. The Central Appointment Scheduler will have interactions with patients and their families, physicians, physician office personnel and others in obtaining and recording the information necessary for effective scheduling and accurate registration while maintaining a focus on customer service and patient confidentiality.     Schedule for this role will be 8:30am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)

The Clinical Diabetes Educator - Nurse provides state of the art diabetes self-management education (DSME) in a variety of settings, to persons with diabetes (PWD) and their families/care-partners, helping to optimize their diabetes management.    This role is part time, 24hr/wk. The Medical Office Coordinator is responsible for providing support to physicians and allied health professionals within a busy ambulatory setting and to ensure efficient operations by providing excellent customer service to patients, other staff members, and external parties.   Provides support to the department and manager by coordinating schedule requests; assisting in the review and development of orientation materials and training of new employees; involvement with other continuous quality improvement activities.
